Save events as drafts

• NEW Drafts for events — new events start as drafts and stay hidden from the public until you hit Publish. Drafts get a clear badge in your event list and a preview banner on the event page. Existing events are unaffected

Capacity limits and better hero images

• NEW Max Participants on events — set a cap from the schedule editor and the Register button automatically flips to Event Full once it's reached. Remaining seats are shown in Quick Info and next to the Register button
• IMPROVED Event hero images now display in their full aspect ratio — vertical or square shots are no longer cropped, with a soft blurred backdrop filling the 16:9 frame

Custom event times

• IMPROVED Event schedule editor now has an editable Time field — type a custom time like 19:00 - 23:00, or leave it empty to derive it from a Program Template. A custom time always overrides the template

Watch games, drop wishlists

• NEW Watch a game to get notified when the team publishes a new build or opens a playtest — the button on every game page replaces the old wishlist concept
• NEW Game updates notification preference in your dashboard so you can opt out of build/playtest alerts without unwatching
• IMPROVED Game show page social links are now compact brand icons (Bluesky, TikTok and Instagram included) instead of full-width buttons
• REMOVED Wishlist concept retired across the platform — the Build Your Steam Page course (which was wishlist-funnel pedagogy) has been removed

SwissGames brand for the games catalogue

• IMPROVED The Games nav entry is now SwissGames — top nav, footer, sidebar card, and home-page rail all reflect the new name. Existing /games URLs keep working

Members can run their own events

• NEW Event organization members get a My Events area in the dashboard to create and edit events for their organization, without needing admin access
• NEW Add a new location on the fly from the event form — it stays scoped to your organization
• NEW Event organizations now have per-member roles — only members with the organizer role can create or edit events; plain members are listed for affiliation only

Collaboration chat polish

• IMPROVED Collaboration chat threads are now deep-linkable — share a URL like /collaborations/my-listing#conversation-7 and the right thread opens automatically
• FIXED Chat sidebar previews no longer overflow into the message pane; long names and message previews crop cleanly with an ellipsis
• FIXED Selecting a conversation now always scrolls to the latest message, even when it contains image attachments that decode after the thread opens
• NEW Emoji picker in the chat composer — click the smile button next to the paperclip to drop an emoji into your message

Lab specimens get a Settings tab with visibility control

• NEW Lab edit page now has a sidebar with Details · Media · Builds · Settings — clicking a tab updates the URL hash so you can bookmark or share a deep link
• NEW Specimen visibility: Public (listed in the lab), Hidden (reachable only with the direct link), or Private (owner-only). Change it in Settings
• IMPROVED “View on The Lab” button moved to the top-right of the edit page; delete action lives inside a red Danger zone inside Settings
• NEW Builds tab placeholder — uploading playable builds is coming; for now keep pointing the external URL at itch.io or a WebGL build

Unlimited games on every plan

• IMPROVED Dropped the game limit entirely — Free, Indie, and Studio can all list as many games as they want. Bring your whole itch.io back catalogue

Studios get a banner and a fresh public page

• NEW Studios can now upload a wide banner image — find it in Account → Studio → Images, with drag-and-drop and a crop tool (recommended 1920×480, 5 MB max)
• IMPROVED Studio logos now use the same crop tool as game images — upload, adjust, apply
• IMPROVED Public studio page redesigned to match the profile page — banner hero, circular logo overlapping, stats row, games and team in a clean 3-column layout
• NEW “View public page” button on the studio edit page opens the live studio in a new tab

Private chat on every collaboration listing

• NEW Expressing interest in a listing opens a private chat with the owner — lives on the listing page, not in your DM inbox, one thread per interested user
• NEW Share files in listing chats — images preview inline with a lightbox and hover-download; PDFs, zips, docs, and 3D assets (fbx/glb/gltf/blend/obj/stl/dae/usdz) attach as file cards (5 MB max per file)
• NEW Either party can close a conversation from the thread menu — history stays visible, new messages are disabled
• IMPROVED Mobile header cleaned up — Go Pro, settings, notifications, and profile avatar now live inside the hamburger menu instead of crowding beside it
• FIXED Clicking a listing-related notification in the dashboard no longer 404s
